Materials must either be non-combustible, appropriately flame-retardant, or meet the venue’s required flame and smoke ratings. Drapes, curtains, banners, decorative fabrics, treated wood, and flame-resistant foam core may be used when appropriate fire-safety documentation is available. Untreated materials and materials that cannot be flame-treated are prohibited. No roof or covering on booths will be permitted.

Carpeting is permitted. Double-stick tape, gaff tape, or duct tape cannot be applied directly to the venue floor. A layer of blue painter’s tape must be placed down first to protect the floor. Cords running through public areas must be protected with an appropriate cord cover, rubber matting, or ramp; carpet or tape alone is not sufficient for covering cords.
